First and foremost - LEWTS
During regular play all lewt belongs to the person who lewts it - no questions asked, they can sell/barter/give to whomever they wish, no questions asked.
But, during guild events All Treasured, Fabled, and Legendary items go to guild bank, and may be purchased with DKP, save for no-trade items, which must be abandoned by those who can not use them in place of those who can. If no person in the lewting group can use the no-trade item, then it my be rolled for by everyone.
Failure to abide by these simple lewting rules may get you demoted, with loss of DKP, or booted from guild on repeated offences.
Next issue is attendance.
Without notice from you, you will be auto-booted from guild after 14 days of inactivity, it takes 5-10 minutes to log on to tell us your going to be absent for extended periods of time!!! In the rare case that your computer blew-up etc... and it took more than a fortnight to get it repaired, you may be re-instated with full DKP, and rank, but you will however loose your guild status points.
The web page.
It is not compulsory to sign-up on this web-apge, however not having signed-up you cannot recieve DKP, and will still be expected to follow the lewting rules mentioned above during attendance to the guild events.
It is highly recomended you quickly check the web page everyday, especially the calendar, so that you can put your name down in advance for any event organized by the guild. places in the raids, will be given in a first come basis, so if the raid is full, you will not be able to gain DKP for the event.
Using Teamspeak
During Guild Events, it is compulsory to download teamspeak and have it running on your computer during the raid, even if you have no microphone, so that you can hear what is going on.
During intensive events, it shaves of a lot of time if you can just say things, without having to type them. It is highly recomended that you purchase at least a mic, with a preference (for your sake) for a USB headset.
The reason for the USB headset, is so that you can have regular sound coming through your speakers, and VoIP through the headset, trust me - it's good.
Ranks and Promotion
To obtain the second rank in the guild a bare minimum of any of the following are required, 1000 Status Points, Attendence to a minimum of 3 guild events, or numerous minor donations to guild bank.
Higher ranks will be awarded on merit, based upon these three items and the rank of Usurper will require a minimum of 350,000 Status Points, Attendence to a large quantity of guild events, and several subtantial donations to guild bank (and nothing petty either).
It is felt by the guild leader and officers that the rank of Usurper should be something that has been well earnt, and not handed away.
Subject to change
All of these basic principles are subject to change at any time to server the best interest of the guild, that the guild is an entity, that is above and beyond the guild leader, officers, and players, and that its best interests must be kept in mind. Internal politics might tend to be semi-democratic, with repsect to higher level members.
and finally...
Theft, bad conduct, etc...
Will NOT be tolerated especially amongst ourselves, a blind-eye might be turned in some grey cases, but expect to be reprimanded for being an ass-hole in general, I play EQ2 for fun, and would like to think we can all enjoy.
OUTSIDE OF THE GUILD EVENT
Outside of the guild events, we will be encouraging mentoring, and may even award DKP based upon level of mentor.
Member of the month will recieve a bonus of 5 DKP - this value may increase over time.
We encourage tradeskills, and should work to help tradeskillers where we can, especially if this is their chosen mode of play - it is nice to be able to obtain raw materials for nothing, or low prices, since much of what is on the broker is, well, a little overpriced at times, if it is even there in the first place.
We will be polite to other Freeport guilds, and helpfull to new players.
We will not be polite to other non-Freeport guilds, and will general have a kill-on-sight policy.
We will encourage players to obtain all expansion packs, and persausive to them in that they should also get all adventure packs - this is not compulsory, but it will help out if we can all go to the same places, without having to split out forces when marching down on Qeynos.
We will presure people to be the most talented players they can be, and to kill as many Qeynosians, and Fae as they can possibly kill in one day.
We will have guild events that provide a fair amount of variety, a guild event might be anything from a large raid, to a small assault, or a mentoring night (if the bank is getting full up) or other elected event.
We have a guildhouse, and intend to get it equiped with crafting stations at a later date - but for the moment - it is just a house.
